The King: Eternal Monarch

'The King: Eternal Monarch' is a Korean drama that aired in 2020, and deals with time travel as its main subject.

It is a drama depicting a romance of a different dimension through cooperation between a science-type Korean emperor who tries to close the door of the dimension against the devil and a liberal arts-type Korean detective who tries to protect someone's life, people, and love.

Lee Je-woong, who went to the past, accidentally runs into Lee Seong-gye, the monarch who became the king of Joseon in the Joseon Dynasty, which is different from the present day he knows. It's a story.

It gained a lot of popularity by satisfying various genres such as unique material dealing with time travel, complex story composition, and romance and action dealing with historical background.
